BioSB research school

The Netherlands Bioinformatics and Systems Biology research school (BioSB) is the national platform in which the Dutch community of researchers in bioinformatics and systems biology is organized. BioSB also organizes:

  1. fundamental and advanced post-graduate courses
  2. the yearly BioSB conference
  3. hot topics meetings

The aim of the BioSB research school is to offer PhD students, postdocs and senior researchers a vibrant environment for their scientific development as well as education in bioinformatics and systems biology. In addition, BioSB acts as a parent organization for YoungCB, the official Regional Student Group (RSG) of the International Society of Computational Biology (ISCB).

BioSB Young Investigator Award 2021 – call for nominations

You can now nominate a young researcher for the BioSB Young Investigator Award 2021 (12th edition). The award will be presented during the BioSB 2021 conference. You can now submit aan abstract for a presentation at the virtual BioSB 2021 conference on June 15-16. You can submit for a highlight presentation or a regular presentation in one of the parallel session or you can submit for a poster or demo presentation. Read more at the conference website!

Jasmijn Baaijens winner of the BioSB Young Investigator Award 2020
